It was raining when I got home. But the temperature was way above 20 degrees Celsius. It's almost too hot for a run if it was daytime, and if it was sunny. But with drizzling rain it's a perfect condition for an interval session which inevitably raises your body temperature. The rain takes away heat. 


I warmed up for about 20 minutes while listening to "Stay With Me" by Miki Matsubara, who sadly died of cancer when she was still 44. Very good song covered by many across the world. Simple, but very moving melodic movement. I like it a lot. I kept on listening to it during intervals as well. It helped to get my mind off the creeping discomfort of building lactic acid and increasingly difficult breathing. Power of music.
